Dr Shabana has done her PhD in Materials science & Engg (Electrochemistry – Fuel cell technology) & post-doctorate from NUM Malaysia, NUS Singapore and CISR-NCL and SPPU, pune, India. She is currently working as Technical Head-Hydrogen division, at Advantek fuel system Pvt ltd Pune.  She is carrying multidisciplinary experience of 18+ years  in her professional journey. At Advantek she is leading India’s first hydrogen fuel cell powered train  project and other hydrogen projects along with team under her guidance and supervision. Currently she has also contributing for various hydrogen new project planning, Execution & demonstration, product’s technical & Safety internal audits for various customers and setting up a hydrogen supply ecosystem. She is also leading in the Engineering/ Manufacturing areas for the new product development and certification, brand creation in new markets, strategic project management & identifying various value chain partners and negotiation, business collaboration via JV and partnerships.

She is actively engaged with regulatory board for the formulation of H2-electrolyser, FC and E-vehicles hydrogen standards with Indian national standards committee (BIS, ARAI, AIS) in collaboration with Transport ministry of India, ensuring that private sector solutions meet and influence evolving regulatory frameworks. She is currently spearheading major initiatives, including India’s first hydrogen train project, H2-ICE and H2-fuel cell trucks/buses OEM projects for full filling the requirement of customers on time. Also she is leading for our upcoming Electrolyser –Hydrogen production Pilot plant projects by contributing her knowledge for techno-commercial advisory to OEMs, EPCs, R&D project for technology prototyping to infrastructure planning, supply chain development, and market deployment.
